Get your annual Crab Feed Tickets now!! Join us for the 17th annual Lake Chelan Lions CRAB FEED. Thank you one and ALL for the support of this fund raise for Lions' Club Community Projects.

 
This Annual Crab Feed is a large undertaking for the club and is a major fund raiser for local scholarships and other Lion's community projects.  Thanks each of you how have tickets to this years feed.  We are looking forward to seeing you on Feb. 7th. @ the Chelan Eagles from 5 to 8 PM.  Come Hungry! 

 
The all you can eat Crab Feed includes: fresh cracked crab, coleslaw, baked beans, garlic bread, & potato salad. All will be prepared and served by Lion's club members & volunteers 5pm-8pm at the Eagles Hall in downtown Chelan. 

Donations are $30 per person, available at Kelly's Ace Hardware, Eagles, Lake Chelan Mail Boxes, or any Lake Chelan Lion's Club member.

The Lion's Club fundraising proceeds go toward:

  • the Helen Kellar Sight & Hearing Foundation
  • Washington State locals in need of a cornea transplant
  • the Community Scholorship fund benefiting Chelan & Manson High School Students.


Lake Chelan Lions' ANNUAL Project list:

 

*    Help place American Flag in downtown Chelan for all Major Holidays

*    Operational support for Echo Valley Ski Resort

*    Year round Helen Keller Sight Foundation help with glasses and hearing for all ages in the Lake Chelan Valley and lower Methow Valley; including cornea transplants

*    Year around Community Scholarships fund raising to benefit Chelan and Manson High School Students.

*    Year around Community Parade help with Traffic control

*          January: Chili Feed in Don Morse Park in conjunction with the Lake Chelan Chambers' Ice and Snow Festival. Martin Luther King weekend

 

*          February: ANNUAL Crab Feed, the 1st Saturday of the month 5 to 8pm. Held at the Lake Chelan Eagles in downtown Chelan. All you can eat with only 500 tickets sold. Lake Chelan's LARGEST winter social dinner event!

 

*          March: Help organize the Annual Wayne Kelly Big Dog parade and celebration. Closest Sat. to St. Patrick's Day. Green is the dress of the day!

 

*          April: Help the Eagles sponsor the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Don Morse Park. Annual Community Garage Sale late April or early May.

 

*          May: White Cane's Day, the second weekend in May. NW Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing. Participate in the Manson Apple Blossom Parade.

 

*          July: Park cars at the Lake Chelan Annual Rodeo the third weekend of July.

 

*          August & September: Work on any special community project or clean-up.

 

*          October: Help with Halloween for kids.

 

*          November: Work with Apple Cup Café and community on providing a FREE Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in the Valley. This includes delivering meals to homes.

 

*          December: Annual Christmas Trees sales with Mansfield Lions Club@Lakeshore Drive -In, Chelan. Runs from December 1st. until trees are sold. Christmas Basket for special families packaged and delivered just before Christmas. Average is 23-25 families served with baskets of food, clothing, and toys. Lake Chelan Lions Club receives lot of support from all areas of community to make these Baskets full and special for each family.
