Remember the days of soap box derby races?
Well instead of soap box derby races,
we present Valve Cover Races.
This event is open to the public and of all ages.
Official Valve Cover Racer Rules

The cars shall have no power source
-
All motive force is provided by gravity
-
Cars shall be based on actual automotive valve covers (domestic or foreign)
-
Wheel base shall be no more than 24 inches
-
Wheel track width no more than 14 inches
-
Wheels can be inside or outside of the valve cover
-
Cars can have four or less wheels with a maximum diameter of no more than 6 inches
-
Car weight limit is 10 lbs |
