Remember the days of soap box derby races? The Lake Chelan Chamber presents a new spin on this nostalgic sport--Valve Cover Races.

This event is open to the public and of all ages.

Official Valve Cover Racer Rules  

• The cars shall have no power source
• All motive force is provided by gravity
• Cars shall be based on actual automotive valve covers (domestic or foreign)
• Wheel base shall be no more than 24 inches
• Wheel track width no more than 14 inches
• Wheels can be inside or outside of the valve cover
• Cars can have four or less wheels with a maximum diameter of no more than 6 inches
• Car weight limit is 10 lbs
