Chelan Valley Harvest Fest

October 17-18, 2008

Join us as we celebrate harvest in the Chelan Valley. This event commemorates the agricultural heritage of our Valley. Take a hayride, taste freshly pressed cider, get lost in a corn maze, or join an apple pie contest. This event provides a bountiful weekend of fun for everyone.

Friday, Oct. 17

4-9pm, Downtown Manson

Pumpkin Carver Russ Leno carves a 300-500 lb. pumpkin.  

Downtown Businesses offer special Harvest Fest savings.

Walkabout - Public votes for the “Best Harvest Themed” decorated storefront.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place. Prizes for participants

6-9pm: Country Hoe Down with Troy “T-Bone” Lucas in downtown Manson.

 

Master Pumpkin Carver Russ Leno will carve a 300-500 lb. pumpkin at 4pm Friday in downtown Manson.

Saturday, Oct. 18

10am – 6pm, Downtown Manson

Downtown Businesses offer special Harvest Fest savings.

Farmer’s Market (final day of the year)

Harvest Supper at the Grange

2-5pm: Manson Park and Rec will provide refreshments, games and mini pumpkins to decorate

Harvest Splash at Manson Bay Park

4pm: Harvest Fest Apple Pie Contest at Manson Business Center

6pm-8pm: Outdoor movie at Manson Grange parking lot/grass area.  Bring blankets and chairs. Free.

10am – 5pm, Banjo Creek Farms

Corn Maze, Hay Rides, Petting Zoo, Specialty Vendors

12-2pm: Cider Press Contest

Chili, Brats, and Hot Dogs

11am-5pm: Live Music
