Chamber Accepting Requests for Funding
The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is now accepting 2010 applications for funding by non-profit organizations.
Chelan, Washington – October 1, 2009
The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is now accepting 2010 applications for funding by non-profit organizations. The Chamber provides annual financial support to non-profit publications, activities and events. To be considered for support, publications, activities and events must;
· Occur in the Lake Chelan Valley,
· Promote commercial, economic or civic progress in the Chelan community, or
· Draw visitors to Chelan, Manson or Stehekin.
Additional criteria used for eligibility includes a minimum requirement of volunteering during Chamber sponsored events. Organizations that are interested in requesting financial support should contact the Chamber to obtain guidelines and a request form. Forms are also available at www.lakechelan.com under ‘about us.’ Requests for 2010 must be submitted by Friday, November 13, 2009.
