September 19, 2009: Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10K Run |
| This certified marathon course promises to be among the most scenic in Washington State. The marathon course begins up lake of Fields Point Landing on Lake Chelan’s South Shore Road. Runner's pass thru Chelan on Hwy 97A onto Manson Hwy 150, the north shore road, for the final stretch to the waterfront finish at Manson Bay Park. The course is predominantly flat and rolling with (2) half mile inclines in the full marathon. Starting temperature may range from approx. 55 degrees at 7:00 am to near 75 degrees by 1:00pm with variances. |

| Registration: Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. Online registration will begin 3 months prior to the event. |
| Race Start: The Marathon will start at 7:00 am. The Half Marathon and 10K Run will start at 8:00 am at their perspective starting lines. |
| Eligibility: Open to all runners. No bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers or strollers, roller-skates or blades, or animals. This course will not accommodate wheelchair participants. |
| Pre-race Meeting/Packet Pick-up: Friday, Sept. 18 from 9am-5pm at the Lake Chelan Chamber. |
| Transportation to Start: Buses will leave from the Don Morse Park at 6:15 am for the Marathon, at 7:15 am for the Half-Marathon, and 7:45 am for the 10K Run. |

Race Finish: Finish is located at Manson Bay Park, on the lake near downtown Manson. |
| Course Closure: The course will be open for 6 hours. Runners not finished by 1:00 pm are responsible for their own safety. Early starts (for seniors only) may be accommodated by arrangement. |

Transportation to Chelan after Finish: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12 Noon & 1:00 pm. |
Awards Ceremony: At Manson Bay Park, as follows: 10K – 11:00 am ½ M – 12:00 pm Marathon – 12:30 pm The overall male and female 1st Place finishers of each race will receive special awards and prizes. The first 3 finishers of each division will receive medals (male and female 19 and under, then 5 year increments to 75+). All finishers of the marathon, ½ marathon, and 10K Run will receive finisher’s medals. Prize drawings will be held for those in attendance. |
