HOURS Full time; Seasonal (April – September)
COMPENSATION D.O.E. Use of host RV site and all utilities during time of service. Host to provide RV for onsite housing. Concession of firewood and ice.
The campground host oversees the daily operations of the Wapato Lake Campground and boat launch managed by the Manson Park & Recreation District. This position plays an active role in the care of the grounds to ensure a clean, safe and family friendly environment for guests. The campground is open April 1st through September 30th including weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Receive and manage reservations and drive-ups.
Ensure bathrooms and showers are clean and safe.
Inform the Office Manager when maintenance supplies are needed.
Maintain great rapport with guests.
Ability to remain calm and collected when confronted by an upset guest.
Ability to provide 24-hour campground coverage.
Ensure that all park rules are adhered to.
Maintenance of the campground (ie: mowing, pruning, repairs of irrigation lines, garbage pick up, etc.)
Additional duties as assigned.
