Lake Chelan Fine Arts Festival

The 2013 Lake Chelan celebration of the arts will begin with the Lake Chelan Fine Arts Festival Gallery Gala - Preview Party. The Gala will take place among the original works of art found in the Juried Art Gallery, at Campbell’s Resort Park Room, on Aug. 16. The evening will include a preview of the Juried Art Gallery, announcement of the Gallery awards, appetizers, a no host bar, entertainment and an excellent opportunity to purchase original works of art and to see what will be offered at the Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Venue the following day at Riverwalk Park. The Gala is open to the public.

 The Riverwalk Park Juried Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Venue at Riverwalk Park will showcase artists from around the Northwest as they display and sell their original works of art. The venue will be surrounded by entertainment, food, a children’s area and special events. The work to be displayed and sold includes painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, wood, metal and mixed media. Some artists will be creating new works of art during the Festival. All artists will be present during the weekend so patrons can meet them. The Supporting Local Artists Venue located in Riverwalk Park will provide an area to highlight the work of local artists. The venue will include a booth sponsored by the Lake Chelan Artist Alliance, and the “Art By The Foot Silent Auction”. Art by the Foot will be displayed at Allisons of Manson for 2 weeks before the festival. The Juried Art Gallery, located at Campbell’s Resort Park Room on Woodin Avenue allows artists to highlight their best work in an indoor venue. The Juried Art Gallery will include the work of all artists who are accepted to participate in the Riverwalk Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Venue and other Northwest artists who apply and have their entries accepted in the jury process. All artwork displayed in the Gallery will be for sale.
