Camping

For you, "city" really is a four-letter word.  Fine dining? Fresh caught kokanee grilled over a campfire.  Mood lighting? A perfect crescent moon under a blanket of stars.  Party music? Sitting down to a symphony of crickets and owls, with the occasional scree of a bald eagle thrown in for good measure.  We get it.  Camp here, and you'll get all that, and more. 

Campgrounds at 25 Mile State Park, Lake Chelan State Park, Wapato Lake Campground and others let you rough it without being too far away from town.  Some are outfitted with hookups, restrooms, showers, and boat launches.  If you really want to get away from it all, miles of untamed backcountry in the Stehekin Valley, Sawtooth Wilderness, and beyond beckon.
