Job Description:

Lake Chelan School District has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to the Program Coordinator for Afterschool Intervention and Enrichment. This position averages 500-600 hours per year, with the possibility of decreased or increased hours based on the number of programs provided each school year. Timing of all tasks are variable and flexible and solely depend on the type of afterschool programming offered.

Job Description:
Assist Program Coordinator with coordination of Afters operations at MOE and CMS.
Monitor attendance in the Afters program at MOE.
Make regular phone calls to parents and teachers:
Contact parents whose children are absent from MOE Afters daily.
Contact teachers with news of students’ progress in Afters.
Relay any concerns about student work or behavior from the Activity Leader to the student’s teacher.
Assist with written translation of program forms and letters using resources available in the district.
Attend professional development, training and meetings as required.
Experience in MS Excel, Word, and willingness to learn new software for communication.
Able to use Skyward.
Work as part of the team of afterschool staff to execute logistics of the program.
Spanish speaking helpful, but not necessary.

Rate of Pay:
$19.36-23.23 per hour
