Wellness Weekend at Chelan Valley Farms

Grow-Gather-Wine-Wellness. Our mission at Chelan Valley Farms is connecting families to agriculture. Wellness is an integral component to our mission. Physically, Mentally and Emotionally.

Introducing our 1st Wellness weekend on the farm 9-noon April 30- May 1, 2022. Join us Saturday morning with Yoga Uncorked then enjoy a tea tasting. Dr. Sudi Baskota will be introducing Nepal Tea, discussing Women’s Health, and introducing meditation. Then nutritionist, Tournesol Founder and author of the 5 archetypes, Carey Davidson will be joining us via Zoom to explore and understand the five archetypes. A special gift will be available for the first 40 attendees that sign up!

On Sunday morning we will start the day with yoga and spend our day focused on food and fitness. Dive into gut health and learn first hand from the team from the Bread Lab how wheat has evolved over the years and is affecting our health. Only7Seconds will discuss mental health and resources available.

All proceeds will be donated to Only7Seconds.com

 

The full itinerary is below:

SATURDAY (WELLNESS and SELF CARE DAY)
9:00-9:45 45 minutes of Yoga with Uncorked Yoga
10:00-10:20 A taste of Nepal Tea – taste whole leaf organic tea from Dr. Sudi’s family farm in Nepal. This tea is some of the best we’ve had.

10:30-11:15 Let’s talk about Hormones and Women’s health as we age with Naturopathic expert Dr. Sudi Baskota.

11:20-11:40 Meditation Expert Utsav Bajgain will introduce Meditation and the TM technique.

11:40-12:30 Author Cary Davidson will zoom in and talk about The 5 Archetypes. The first 40 attendees receive a free copy of her book. Incredible techniques on relationships at work or home, working in groups. She’s taught all over the world. We’re excited to have her join.

 

SUNDAY (FOOD & FITNESS DAY)
9:00-9:45 45 minutes of Yoga with Uncorked Yoga
9:45-10:00 A taste of Nepal Tea Tasting – on our 2nd day of the event, get another chance to taste

whole leaf, organically and ethically farmed tea.

10:30-11:15 Vitamins (the good/bad and the ugly) skin care- sunscreen etc. with Dr. Sudi Baskota.

11:15-11:45 Chad Steiner – Discussing wheat and how it has evolved, sharing his breeding experience from college and an agriculture career around the world. Try crackers baked by Sunset Manson from heirloom FinnRiver Grainery and taste the difference. 30+ participants will go home with a a bag of flour.
11:45-12:10 Erin McCardle with the Barn will focus on our physical health. Some example exercises you can take home with you.

12:10-12:30 Only7Seconds will discuss mental health and resources they provide to help.
12:30 U-pick Daffodils will be available for guests to take a farm fresh bouquet home.
