The 45th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks display, one of the largest in Eastern Washington, takes place over Manson Bay on Lake Chelan on Thursday, July 4th. This event is a wonderful experience for the entire family and will create some great memories. The many Manson businesses and community members each year raise the necessary funds through private donations, sponsorships, and the Stars and Stripes Auction events to put on one of the most spectacular shows over the pristine waters of beautiful Lake Chelan. The 45th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show starts at 10:15 pm on July 4th. The fireworks are staged from a barge anchored in Manson Bay so viewers can enjoy the beauty of our community while waiting for the show at nightfall. Come early and make a day of it. The Tango Cowboys is a duo that performs fun-loving music from America (North and South), specializing in vocal tangos and cowboy songs from the 1930s and 1940s, trail songs from the great cattle drives of the 1870s, and classics by Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins. The Lowdown Drifters are a country band formed in Washington State in 2015 by vocalist John Cannon and guitarist Ryan Klein prior to moving to Fort Worth, TX where they are currently based. From our friend Carly: “I am 19 years old and I've been singing for as long as I can remember. Music is always what I've wanted to do with my life. At the age of 6 I started writing songs, although, they definitely weren't masterpieces. After begging my parents for a guitar they got me one for my 10th birthday and I fell in love. However, when I couldn't figure out how to play it I reached out to the custodian at my elementary school. His name was Mr. Anderson and without him I'm not sure I'd even be playing today. He not only taught me how to play guitar, but he also encouraged me, which is more than I could ever ask for. When I was 11 I started to sing at places and I guess I just never stopped. I just graduated high school in June from Cashmere High School and intend on playing music instead of going to college, at least for now. Being a successful musician is my dream and I don't think I'll ever stop fighting for it.”

On every Tuesday of the month, we will have at least one table reserved just for you! On the days we aren’t teaching D&D, there will be two large tables reserved for TTRPGs. Each year, young rodeo hopefuls and their families come from all over Washington State and beyond to take part in the Chelan Jr. Rodeo. Children, teens and in between compete in more than 50 combined events from mutton bustin’ to bareback riding, stake racing and steer wrestling, roping to barrel racing and more. These youth compete year-round at junior rodeos throughout the northwest region and even parts of Canada before arriving in Chelan where they will test their skills in one, two or several rodeo events. The goal: to accumulate enough year-round points in their respective categories and advance to the next level of competition.

On the second Tuesday of every month, our Game Master offers 1.5 hour-long sessions to teach players the basics of 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons! We will cover everything you need to know, from creating your first character to exploring your first dungeon! The only things you’ll need to bring are your creativity and curiosity, we’ll provide the rest! Have you been playing D&D, Pathfinder, 40K, or another tabletop role-playing game for years and just need a place to play? We’ve got you covered there too. On every Tuesday of the month, we will have at least one table reserved just for you! On the days we aren’t teaching D&D, there will be two large tables reserved for TTRPGs. Call ahead reservations are always accepted. This event is free!
