Overview:
Parmenter Homes, a leading homebuilder in the Lake Chelan area, we are seeking a General Construction Laborer to join our team. As a General Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including assisting with the installation of structures, moving materials, cleaning up job sites, and more. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and be willing to work hard cleaning up job sites.
Responsibilities:
• Perform manual labor tasks on construction sites, including assisting with the installation of structures and moving materials.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, including cleaning up job sites regularly to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Operate hand and power tools, including but not limited to drills, saws, and machinery.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and other team members.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work hard cleaning up job sites regularly to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment used in construction preferred.
Wage: $16 – $18 an hour
