Job Description:

Chelan High School has an opening, beginning the 2021-2022 school year (non-continuing), for a .5FTE Worksite Learning Teacher/Coodinator. This position entails managing student work experience opportunities at job sites within the valley along with classroom instruction entitled Career Connections. These classes offer students an opportunity to explore and develop employability and leadership skills, career awareness, and occupational knowledge that will prepare them for success in the workplace. The courses combine classroom instruction, career related activities, and hands on experience within a learning site.

Qualifications to include:
● A BA degree and a valid Washington State teaching certificate preferred.
● Career and Technical Education Certification, or the ability to obtain the required certification, with endorsements in the areas of Worksite Learning, Career Choices, and Business Education.
● Ability to communicate with students, community employers, staff and administration.
● Proven program development skills.
● The ability to establish collaborative partnerships with the business community.
