Job Description:
Lake Chelan School District has a Remote K-12 Teacher position at the Holden Village School beginning the 2025-26 school year:
Qualifications to include:
• A current Washington State Teacher’s Certificate and K-8 or K-12 Endorsement
• Plan and implement instruction for individual or small groups of students based upon Common Core State Standards across the content spectrum as well as electives
• Collect and utilize data and frequent ongoing progress monitoring systems to inform instructional decisions
• Working knowledge of Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills to work with students, parents, staff and village community
• Trustworthy and responsible to complete duties in unique work environment
• Experienced clustering multi-grade instructional groups
• Special Education and / or Highly Capable experienced teachers encouraged to apply
• Current 1st Aid/CPR card, or willingness to get upon hiring
• Willingness to live in a remote community with limited boat transportation in and out

Holden Village is designated a Remote and Necessary School in the state of Washington and the individual who fills this position will live in a remote, community-oriented area. Familiarity with the Village and/or experience is preferred. Holden Village website is: www.holdenvillage.org
