Job Description:

Lake Chelan School District has a long-term substitute position open for an elementary school admin assistant from the beginning of the 2022-23 school year through to Winter Break in December 2022. The work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day and the salary range is $19.94 to $23.93 per hour; depending upon prior school district experience in the same position.

• High school diploma; preference may be given to an individual with a minimum of two years post graduate education in some capacity
• Valid First Aid/CPR card, or willingness to obtain soon after being hired
• Successful completion of WSP/FBI, and Sexual Misconduct clearance
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) to include proficiency in English and Spanish grammar, spelling, and punctuation; both written and oral

Qualifications to include:
• Confidentiality is extremely important and of the highest priority
• Ability to work with a variety of people and provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex tasks with frequent interruptions
• Strong organizational skills with ability to keep accurate records and compile reports
• Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
• Extensive computer knowledge with proficiency in word processing, spread sheets, and data files (experience with SKYWARD management system a plus)
• Proficient in the use of copiers, phone systems, laminators, fax machines, etc.
• Proficient typing skills – 50 wpm
• Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines
