State Parks

There are two State Parks located on the south shore of the lake. The City of Chelan offers camping on the north shore, with full hook-ups and tent sites at the city park. There are several campgrounds on the smaller lakes near Manson – some with hook-ups, restrooms, showers and boat launches. There are also numerous boat-in and hike-in campgrounds within the Lake Chelan Valley.

The Chelan Ranger District has 22 primitive campgrounds which are fi rst come, first served. Ten “boat-in” campgrounds are located along Lake Chelan and require a Dock Site Permit of $5/day or $40 for a season pass.

All Chelan Ranger District Campgrounds include picnic tables, toilets and fi re-rings. Some include group shelters.
