Located just above the water on beautiful Lake Chelan, Washington, Nefarious is a small, family-owned winery with a reputation for producing exceptional wines from their estate vineyards. Along with striving to produce inspiring wines, we aim to create a memorable experience for the guests who visit the property.
The ideal candidate for the position of Direct Sales and Tasting Room Associate who will provide three core functions for the winery:
Seamless and gracious hospitality for all guests
Sell wine, merchandise, and club memberships
Contribute to a focused selling culture in efforts toward reaching and exceeding our DTC sales goals
Job responsibilities include:
Providing the highest quality hospitality and service to all guests
Conduct tasting experiences including bar and seated tastings
Promote brand and wines throughout the tasting experience while simultaneously selling wine and club memberships to achieve tasting room goals
Assist in keeping wines and promotional materials stocked and orderly
Occasionally assist with special events and tastings at hotels, restaurants, special events, etc.
Assist with regular physical inventories, quality housekeeping, and other back-of-the-house activities.
Previous winery, luxury sales, hospitality, special event experience preferred
Wine knowledge a plus, but not required
Superior customer service and sales skills
Proven track record of achieving goals in retail/hospitality environment
Professional personal presentation
Energetic, warm, outgoing personality
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer and cash register operation experience
Must be over 21, able to lift 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time
Able to work most weekends and some holidays
Wine club management experience, a plus
This is a 30+ hour/week position including weekdays and weekends
