The Winterfest snow slide is a Winterfest must for all! Grab a sled and race your family and friends down the slide.
POLAR BEAR SPLASH, BEACH BONFIRE & FIREWORKS
Not for the faint of heart. Grab your towel and courage and join us at Don Morse Park for the annual Winterfest Polar Bear Splash! We’ll have a MASSIVE beach bonfire roaring to warm you up with an incredible fireworks show you won’t want to miss. Bonus this year: Enchantment Mobile Sauna will be at the park.
TEEN CENTER
Thrive Chelan Valley invites middle and high schoolers to visit the Teen Center for an afternoon of fun! Movies, WIFI, games and billiards are available from 11am-5pm on January 13. Parents will need to sign their teens in and follow necessary policies. Located below the United Methodist Church on Johnson Ave, look for the giant Yellow Ducky!
KIDS GAMES & ACTIVITIES
Hosted at the United Methodist Church banquet room, enjoy an afternoon playing games, such as tabletop basketball, miniature golf, bean toss and more! Chelan Pride will be hosting a non-perishable food drive in support of our local Food Bank, to help support locals during the winter months. Kids are not to be left unattended. Look for the giant Yellow Ducky on Johnson Ave!
KIDS CRAFTS & FACE PAINTING*
In conjunction with the Lake Chelan Arts Council, we are hosting a craft area for kids! Head into the vacant Main Street Gallery building (208 E Woodin Ave) to create your own pin, color, and be creative! Pick out your favorite winter design and get your face painted with Let’s Color Art!** Kids are not to be left unattended.
SUNDAY KIDS ZONE*
In partnership with Historic Downtown Chelan Association, immerse yourself in family activities and games on Emerson St. next to the slide on Sunday, January 14th from 11am-3pm.
COCOA CRAWL*
This might be the sweetest part of the weekend! Get your cup at the Kid Zone, decide on the recipe you would like, and go to the participating business with those toppings. Come back to the Kid Zone to fill your cup! *Limit one cocoa per button. Sponsored by Chelan Toys & Sweets
LIVE CARVING & ICE SCULPTURES
Visit the 200 block of Woodin Ave to get a bird’s eye view of the live ice sculpture carving, starting around 10am. Grab a hot beverage from a vendor and watch the professionals carve and chisel their way to a beautiful sculpture. Once completed, don’t forgot to take a selfie and tag #lakechelanwinterfest on Instagram. Wander around Downtown Chelan for more ice sculptures!

LIVE ICE CARVING
Grab some hot cocoa and watch the professionals carve and chisel their way to a beautiful sculpture. Once completed, don’t forgot to take a selfie and tag #lakechelanwinterfest on Instagram.
MYSTERY MITTEN WALK
Visit the Manson Visitor Center on Saturday, January 20 from 12pm – 4pm to pick up your Mystery Mitten Walk map, mitten and bag (located at 17 Hale St. Manson, WA 98831). Follow your treasure map to each business in the order that they are listed and receive a treat at each one! You will find the matching mitten to complete your pair at the last stop.
FACE PAINTING & CHARACTERS
Head over to the Manson Grange (157 E Wapato Way) to visit with and get a picture with Elsa and Olaf on Saturday, January 20 from 12pm – 4pm. There will also be face painting available at the same time at The Grange. Both of these activities are complimentary.

VIKI DOWNEY POLAR BEAR PLUNGE & BEACH BONFIRE
Join in the 6th Annual Viki Downey Polar Bear Plunge Sunday, January 21 at 1pm at Manson Bay Park. 100% of donations are used to provide free swim lessons at Manson Bay Park. Have fun dressing up, warm up by the bonfire and enjoy hot chocolate or coffee.
