Battle of the Butte – Main Event

The Battle of the Butte at Lakeside Surf on June 28th is a known as a local’s competition, with heat-based divisions for surfers of all ages (10+) and all skill levels. This is an all-day event with men’s and women’s divisions. Surf Competitors will battle it out for prizes & bragging rights against surfers of similar age and skill levels. Spectator admission is FREE, so come on up, grab a drink, eat some tacos and savor some sweets while watching the local surfers Battle for the Butte!

The “Open” category is a qualifier to compete for Team USA in the Continental Surf Cup over Labor Day Weekend. This is a highly competitive division with world-calss surfers. It’s one you won’t want to miss!
