Downtown Manson may be small, but they pack a powerful punch in the form of wineries. With 14 wineries all within walking distance of each other, it’s easy to pass an entire day wandering the shops and tasting wine. Plan a day downtown and pick a few of these stellar wineries to visit!

Producing exclusively red wines and inspired by Bordeaux varietals, in particular, Alta Cellars is a boutique winery that is sure to leave a strong impression. Enjoy sitting on the patio of the old firehouse building in the heart of Manson and taste their limited quantity releases like their award-winning Cabernet Franc! You might even catch tales of winemaker Jay’s fishing adventures!
Ancestry Cellars | 50 Wapato Way, Manson, WA 98831
Visit Ancestry Cellars for a tiny tasting room with a big dose of family heritage. This Woodinville winery has created a place to call home in the Chelan Valley and we think they fit right in. Each wine they make ties into the Morin family history, which inspires the winery’s name. Their wine list is made up of familial names like the La Soeur and Le Frere Bordeaux blends or Grandma Lila’s Rosé. The stories and their wines pair beautifully together. You’ll be ready to take a bottle home to make your own memories!
Cheval Cellars | 14 Wapato Way, Manson, WA 98831
Are a lover of wine and cider alike? Add Cheval Cellars to your tasting tour and it’ll be a one-stop shop! Both their wines and ciders are 100% estate grown on their farm in Manson and all their fruit is harvested, tended, and bottled by hand. Their reds are centered around the Syrah and Grenache varietals. Their white wine offering? Their hard cider! Head to their tasting room downtown for an afternoon on the patio with small bites and games to enjoy as you sip. Alternatively, reserve a weekend at their farm’s “Bed and Bottle”, the CheVal take on a bed & breakfast!

Making wine since 1999, it’s safe to say that Ray has the winemaking process down pat. His wines have won numerous awards and are respected far and wide. There’s something for everyone at the C. R. Sandidge tasting room and the friendly and knowledgeable tasting room staff will help you find what that is. From sophisticated reds to elegant whites and indulgent dessert wines, you really can’t go wrong. Stop by their tasting room in the green market building to see for yourself!
Napeequa Vintners | 300-3 S Quetilquasoon Rd, Manson, WA 98831
The Napeequa Vintners tasting room may reside in downtown Manson, but the vineyard is located on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in Plain. They’re an unassuming winery, choosing to focus less on ambiance and more on crafting fantastic wine. Winemaker Dave Morris approaches his process with 30 years of experience and a great sense of humor. You’ll feel right at home tasting everything from the award-winning Petit Verdot to the Grill Thrill, the ultimate BBQ wine!
Skagit Cellars | 145 Wapato Way, Manson, WA 98831
The wine of Skagit Cellars is crafted with natural methods in a salmon safe vineyard in Burlington, WA. Like many winemakers, it began as a hobby for Mark and Gloria Hulst. They bought land in Burlington and opened a tasting room in La Conner soon after. But their adventure is just beginning. They opened their Manson tasting room in 2018 and plan to eventually move their entire vineyard and operation to the Chelan Valley. Their organic and sustainable growing practices set them apart and make for a truly unique tasting experience!
WineGirl Wines | 222 E Wapato Way, Manson, WA 98831
With pin-up girl labels, a spacious lawn, trivia nights, and rosé slushies, WineGirl is far from a typical wine tasting experience. Taste through their impressive list with one of the friendly tasting room associates, then order a glass or bottle of your favorite to enjoy outside! Take-out food and picnics are not only allowed – they’re encouraged. They have live music every weekend so head over for a night of live music, a fun ambiance, and great wine!
Wapato Point Cellars | 200 S Quetilquasoon Rd, Manson, WA 98831
Wapato Point Cellars is the sister winery of Lake Chelan Winery located on Wapato Point in Manson. And just like Lake Chelan Winery, it’s so much more than just a tasting room. Enjoy a tasting at the bar or relax in the seating area and enjoy some appetizers. They also offer a full bar after 5, so even the wine skeptics can partake! You can also grab a table at The Winemaker’s Grill for a delicious meal with your loved ones. You can’t go wrong at Wapato Point Cellars – the wine is delectable and the experience is unforgettable.
