Our Winter Wonderland!
Lake Chelan is purely magical during the winter season. The glacier-fed lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the star-filled sky. The downtown scene is what Hallmark Christmas movie dreams are made of. Shop owners greet you warmly as big fluffy flakes fall, mosey up and down the brightly decorated streets with a cup of cocoa in hand—if that doesn’t scream a cozy, small-town Christmas, we don’t know what does!
Family Activities
Between Wine Barrel Train Rides, firework shows every weekend and KOZI’s Santa’s Nice List, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy this holiday season. This year, every Friday and Saturday afternoon, Santa is going to roll through different neighborhoods in the Lake Chelan Valley to say hi to his biggest fans. Keep an eye out for when you’ll get to see Santa on your street! Also, don’t miss a fireworks show every Friday in Chelan, and Saturday in Manson from Thanksgiving to the New Year.

Shop local this holiday season and support family-owned businesses. Our local shops are battling to make the best of it during this pandemic. Show them some love this holiday season and buy gifts for your loved ones from their local stores. May we recommend the homemade fudge from Culinary Apple or a new book from Chelan’s favorite bookstore, Riverwalk Books?
Lights at The Lake
Lights at the lake is a special part of our Small Town Holidays. On any night of the season, take a Driving Light Tour around Lake Chelan. The hillside holiday lights illuminate the valley so beautifully that it’s a sight and experience you’ll never forget. Additionally on Fridays in Chelan and Saturdays in Manson you can catch a fireworks show! Be sure to not miss the Lady of the Lake Holiday Light Boat Parade on Saturdays as well.
Winterfest 2021
Nestled among the snow-capped hilltops and glacier fed waters, Lake Chelan is the perfect place to experience Washington’s Winter Wonderland – and that’s not changing! However, as we adapt to the world we are living in, Winterfest is making the necessary changes to ensure a safe and enjoyable weekend in the Chelan Valley. Join us for take-home wine tastings, a socially distanced winter market, horse-drawn carriages, intricate ice sculptures, two spectacular fireworks shows and more across both downtown Chelan and Manson! Tickets available December 1. Save the date: January 15-18, 2021!
