    Elves Are Taking Over Historic Downtown Chelan This holiday season, Historic Downtown Chelan will transform into a festive elf-filled wonderland on Saturday, November 29th! Start your morning with a Santa Pancake Breakfast at Campbell’s (ticketed), enjoy free coffee, cocoa, and donuts at the Chelan Fire Station, and join the Elf Hunt through local shops for treats and surprises. Families will love craft corners, cookie decorating, and storytime with an elf, while holiday shoppers can snag those Shop Small Saturday specials. Check in early at the HDCA welcome booth and snag early-bird Chamber Bucks ($10 for the first 25 people), enjoy live carolers and magical window displays and a downtown Storywalk. Don’t miss the "Bake-off" style Gingerbread House Making Contest when six local businesses will square off to win for their chosen charity. The movie Elf will be playing at the free family matinee at The Ruby Theatre, and the day will be capped off with a magical evening of downtown dining with holiday menus and glowing lights. It’s a full day of festive fun, local love, and small-town cheer — come experience the magic where the elves play!

At 6pm, Santa will then parade through town and end at the corner of Woodin and Emerson to light the Christmas Tree! Sing carols, get your picture taken, and take in the holiday spirit all around.     Cultura on the Lake

    The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 1st Annual Cultura on the Lake Car Show! Cultura on the Lake is a celebration of lowrider and Chicano car culture, showcasing vehicles that embody style, creativity and pride. Enjoy viewing a vibrant display of chromed-out rides, custom lowriders, classic cars and mamalona trucks that reflect the bold artistry and cultural pride at the heart of this event. At 4:30 PM, classic chrome, custom builds and lowriders will take to the streets for a community cruise that leads into the main event on Woodin Avenue. From 5-8 PM, the avenue transforms into an open-air celebration featuring a live DJ set, a curated vendor market and a lowrider bike showcase that adds an extra layer of artistry and culture. Guests 21+ can swing by The Sip Stop between 5-7:30 PM to enjoy a refreshing beverage while taking in the scene.     Come join us for a fun evening of wine tasting and costumed shenanigans in Historic Downtown Chelan! Put on your best costume and discover what downtown has to offer (merchants will be open late just for you and handing out treats!) Join us at our Instragrammable spots for the costume contest and a chance at a great prize. While most activities are free and food and drink specials abound in downtown restaurants, the wine walk is a ticketed event. Purchase here for $35 for 6 tasting pours and a keepsake wine glass. The Wine Walk is limited to just 200 tickets! (Sorry, no additional pours will be offered for sale.) Please remember to leave the littles at home, this event is for adults only. Kiddos will get their chance on October 31st during Family Trick-or-Treat. Wine Walk check-in starts at 4:00 PM at Coldwell Banker at 101 Woodin Ave. There you'll get your Adult Trick-or Treat Wine Walk keepsake wine glass* (you'll need this for your 6 wickedly-good wine pours) and ID check. The Wine Walk is a 21+ event. *wine glass is shatterproof plastic for portability and dishwasher safe!
