Get ready for two weekends full of fun at Winterfest, where we prioritize creating unforgettable experiences for you and your kids! From thrilling apple bin rides to our famous snow slide, your children will be delighted by the abundance of wintry entertainment.
The first weekend in Chelan kicks off with indoor kids crafts at Main Street Gallery, kids and teen games at the United Methodist Church, along with captivating live ice sculptures that are sure to amaze.
The excitement continues into the second weekend in Manson, featuring face painting, and the chance to meet Elsa and Olaf themselves! And let’s not forget the thrilling Find Tsilly Scavenger Hunt, where you can spot our mischievous Lake Chelan “monster” at various local businesses and even win exciting prizes!
Get your groove on with live music, marvel at the mesmerizing ice carving displays scattered throughout town, and don’t forget to explore the vibrant street market. Brace yourself for the exhilarating Polar Bear Plunge followed by a dazzling fireworks show. Take the plunge into the invigorating waters of Lake Chelan in January, then cozy up by the fire made from recycled Christmas trees. Trust us, this is a bucket list experience you won’t want to miss!

The infamous Ice Bar, sponsored by North Cascades Bank, awaits both weekends, with live music playing in the streets of downtown. Don’t miss the Winterfest Wine Walk – sip award-winning wines in downtown Chelan, chat with winemakers, and explore new wineries. Cap it off with Sunday Bubble Brunch, featuring Lake Chelan’s best bubbles, a catered brunch by Me2You Catering, and insights into local sparkling wines.
